  1. From the Start menu, click Settings, and choose Control Panel.

  2. Double-click the Network icon.

  3. Select Dial-Up Adapter in the The following network components are installed list.
  4. Click the Remove button.

  5. Click the Add button.

  6. Select Adapter in the Click the type of network component you want to install list.
  7. Click the Add button.

  8. Select Microsoft in the Manufacturers list.
  9. Select Dial-Up Adapter in the Network Adapters list.
  10. Click the OK button.

  11. Click the OK button.

  12. Click the Yes button.

    After restarting, Dial-Up Adapter will work properly.
